We All Belong To Someone, 30 x 30 is an abstract acrylic painting created in 2018 using professional (archival) and studio-grade (non-archival) acrylics.

This painting explores the concept of belonging and home. Recent political events around the world have led us to believe that we are divided by our differences. In this work, I spontaneously layer water and paint to reflect the different states of change. Bright golden shapes drift in the currents, appearing to be swept along, disconnected from each other. Yet upon closer examination, organic patterns begin to emerge. What possible connections exist? What new worlds take shape?
